Most of us never write anything down because we don't know where to start. Smritika starts for you. It asks one gentle question — "What did your mother's kitchen smell like?" — and gives you room to answer. Write it, or just speak it aloud.

Every answer you give is kept and gathered into chapters — childhood, home, work, love, the people who raised you. Over time, without ever sitting down to "write a memoir," you will have written one.

It stays on your phone

Your memories never leave your device. There is no account to create, no email to give, and nothing is uploaded to us. We could not read your journal if we wanted to — we don't have it.
